Does Your Business Need Help?

What is the Black Business Project?

The Black Business Project was created to help stimulate majority black-owned businesses  at no cost in the areas of Web Design and Branding, Marketing, Financial Literacy, Operational Improvement, and Relationship Management.

Phase One of this initiative begins in Atlanta. Where we will select Fifty (50) businesses to join the stimulation program.  Qualifying Businesses must meet the following requirements.

We are partnering with heavy hitters in different industries around Atlanta to help 50 black-owned businesses in the following areas:
You only get one chance to make a first impression.

At the Black Business Project, we know how important it is to make sure that every business has branding and an online presence that can compete in the market place. As a part of this initiative, we will work with each business to provide, if necessary, a complete overhaul of their branding and web site to meet the  quality standards potential clients look for.

A great product that no one knows about, does not exist.

Our expert marketing partners will work with each business to ensure they are maximizing their social media presence and to help them develop a marketing campaign or plan that helps them shine in the marketplace.

Financial planning and budgeting make a world of difference.

According to Bloomberg, 80% of new businesses fail within the first 18 months. One of the main reasons for this is finances. The Black Business Project is partnering with CPAs and Financial Advisors to help project participants develop a stronger financial literacy that will prove useful as sales increase.

Together is better than apart.

A business’ relationships are crucial. The relationship with the customer determines if they will return and what they will tell their friends and family about your business. The relationship with the community determines how much that community will support the business. The relationship with other business owners will make the difference between working alone or working as a team to become more profitable together.

The Black Business Project experts will work with each business to devise a plan to strengthen these relationships.

Finding Root Cause

Some issues businesses face go beyond the surface. Our experts will work with businesses to identify issues causing the business not to win. Each business will be provided a list of recommended solutions to help ease the pain.

Our Story

We do this because we believe in keeping the dollar in the black community.

The Black Business Project was an idea that came to light at the beginning of 2017. When members of the Catalyst Next were thinking of ways to help the black business community. After a few days of brainstorming, a plan was hatched.
